Coping with post-lockdown anxiety

The COVID-19 outbreak has been challenging for everyone and we have all experienced the effects of the pandemic differently. After continuous restrictions since last March, on Monday it will be officially the end of lockdown which has been dubbed as ‘Freedom Day'. While for many of us, lifting remaining restrictions brings longed-for opportunities to get back to 'normal' life, for others it can cause fear and anxiety. Coping with changes and re-adjustment along with worrying about being exposed to COVID-19 can cause people to feel overwhelmed and affect their mental health.

At Corazon Health we can help businesses to adapt a range of measures in order to support staff who may be experiencing mental health issues. This includes Management Referral Service, Telephone Counselling, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), as well as Mental Health Awareness Workshops. Please contact us for more information on our services.

We have also prepared a booklet with tips on how to cope with post-lockdown anxiety which can be found below.
