Get your cholesterol under control.

Smiling woman holding a cup of tea

Did you know that almost half of UK adults have raised cholesterol? Having high cholesterol can increase the risk of heart and circulatory diseases, such as heart attack, stroke and vascular dementia. That's why this October, Heart UK is leading National Cholesterol Month a campaign to raise awareness of the impact of high cholesterol on our health.

We have prepared 'Cholesterol. Get it under control' booklet which explains what cholesterol is and how it can be lowered with lifestyle changes and treatment. Please share it with your colleagues and help us raise awareness of the issues associated with high cholesterol and how to make positive changes to control it. Together we can make a difference.

Would you like to provide your staff with extra information, support and encouragement they need to make positive lifestyle changes? Then book our Employee Health Checks - onsite health checks designed to give employees a better understanding of their health, wellbeing and risks. Employee Health Checks can help to find staff with undiagnosed and uncontrolled high cholesterol so they can get the treatment and support they need to bring it under control. Get in touch with us to find out more!
