Keep your skin safe in the sun and be aware of the risks of skin cancer.
May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month and today is also the start of Sun Awareness Week. Both of these campaigns aim to raise awareness of skin cancer, promote sun safety and encourage people to carry out regular skin self-examinations. Most skin cancers can be cured if detected early, therefore checking the skin regularly for any suspicious changes is crucial.
Skin cancer is one of the most common cancers in the UK with around 210,000 new cases of non-melanoma skin cancer and 16,000 cases of melanoma diagnosed each year.

With summer fast approaching, it is important to keep our skin safe in the sun and be aware of the risks of skin cancer. We have prepared Skin Cancer and Sun Safety booklet full of information about skin cancer and tips on how to enjoy the sun safely - please share it with your colleagues to help us raise awareness.
At Corazon Health we offer a webinar which can help employees learn about the causes and symptoms of skin cancer and how to protect their skin from the sun. Get in touch with us to find out more!
